Starting with an O-line that can run block. These guys are getting manhandled week in and week out in the trenches. Akers averaged like 1.6 ypc yesterday. Not sure how we fix this. Anchrum as a guard? Allen as C? - draft / free agency (too expensive?)
TE's - we have a selection that goes from mediocre to poor. None of them can block. Higbee can catch but where has he been? Injury? Mundt seems to whiff on most blocks and lacks physicality. Everett - never developed into the player he might have been. Supposedly has strong hands but lacks ball skills - cannot attack a pass / make contested catches. Maybe we can ad a lower priced free agent with blocking skills to play TE / H-back.
Offensive Coordinator - McVay has gotten much better managing the whole team since his rookie year - but you see how well the defense plays because he trusts Staley and let's him do his thing. In addition to a new ST coach he can trust - an OC to run play calling would really help him focus on clock management / game management, etc. You see the success Andy Reid has had with Biennamy. Sean needs that, I think.
