So What's With The Rams' Soft, Bubble Defense?

October 19, 2020 12:00PM
This thing where they let guys run free and try to tackle them before they get the first down. Is that supposed to be some kind of a zone or something?

I guess they are not comfortable matching DBs up one on one and I can't say I blame them after watching Kittle beat one of our CBs on a slant AND out run him to the end zone. Oh, and did I mention that it was fourth down?

I thought I heard Chris Collinsworth last night question what the Rams were doing, generally, in coverage. Ever since the Buffalo game I've looked at this as a systemic problem.
