Jets placed WR Denzel Mims (hamstrings) on injured reserve.
The Jets tried to wait things out with their second-round rookie but then he injured his other hamstring. He will now be ineligible to play before Week 5 against the Cardinals. SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reports the team is "worried the rookie will be a non-factor for the first half of the season, at least, even if he returns sooner." Yikes. It's only Week 2, but a full-blown dumpster fire appears to be breaking out in Florham Park.
VJ has looked like the best WR in the class though, so glad we took him!!
