I’ve got a feeling, and it’s a strong one, that the pundits are grossly underestimating the Rams this offseason.
I foresee improvement in all 3 phases for this year.
Offense seems slightly better than last year on balance. Todd who? Lol. I think we’ll see better OL play, better RB play, and the Jefferson/Reynolds combo will be more effective than the ‘19 Cooks version. And need I mention the exciting potential of our TE corps for a full season?
Defense has the ingredients for substantial improvement over last year. All due respect to Wade, Fowler, and Littleton, but overall I like this ‘20 version better. Especially the Staley potential.
ST seem potentially improved over last year’s version. Hekker should regain his All Pro form, and whichever kicker wins the job won’t have to strain to best GZ’s disappointing’19 results.
There might be a stumble or two early on, but once these 3 units have fully jelled I think that this team might become a runaway freight train. There, I said it.
Why the pundits are always handicapping the new season based upon the previous year’s finish is beyond me. And they never seem to learn.
