Garrett indefinite suspension upheld; NFL says no racial slur

November 21, 2019 01:35PM
The question for Garrett is no longer if he'll play again in the 2019 season, it's how much of the 2020 season that he might miss.
The guy is a train wreck. His unconscionable slander of Rudolph that he used a racial slur has been investigated by the NFL and deemed absolutely false.

I have no doubt he'll play again someday, but man...... somehow it just feels in -character that this is happening with the forever sad-sack Browns.

HC Kitchens continuing narrative of how he and the team will continue to support Garrett in every way is starting to look pretty bad, but typical Browns. It's one thing not to pile on. It's quite another to behave as though Garrett is a victim or that his action wasn't that serious to warrant such attention and stiff penalty.

This is going to stick to Garrett..... and probably to the Browns...... for many years. The media will not let it die. It's the NFL version of the Juan Marichal / Johnny Roseboro incident that was replayed endlessly for decades.
