If you evaluate players for picks history, the player that is a good player that is being dumped outplays the pick position, I say 90% of the time.
The only advantage is the cap savings of going after the pick so I get that factor a little bit, but quality vs quality, the roll of the dice doesn't work out with the pick being better.
This Jacksonville deal was a steal. The Browns will probably cut the player they pick in the 5th round and Jacksonville has a 1000 yard runner.
