I can't see how if the Rams were to land Suh that they could remain a 3-4 defense. I had reservations when Wade was brought in because he is such a 3-4 guy but the Ram's true studs (Pro Bowlers) were on the DL (Quinn and AD). Well after a year Quinn and AO are gone and we are even thinner at linebacker, while if we were to acquire Suh we would have 3 quality first round DL none of which are an exact scheme fit for the 3-4 defense. Yeah AD won DPOY but that is just once in a generation talent shining whatever the situation. A Suh acquisition would even further tip the balance of power in the defense. Wade would have to consider going back to a 4-3 wouldn't he? I mean in a defense with 3 DL, 2-3 CB, 2 S and 4 LB, the Rams would have more players at DL, CB, S than they would at LB. I always thought that the best coaches adjust their schemes to match their talent. I would hope Wade isn't so set in the his ways that he can't. As some have said Suh doesn't work with AD and Brockers in a 3-4 line, but they would be quite impressive as 3 quarters of a 4-3 line (man then it would have been great to still have Quinn). Actually I am not sure if that would work either because moving either AD or Suh to DE wouldn't really work either and Brockers isn't really a DE either, ideally you would need to trade a DT for a DE somewhere.
