I'm going to beat this drum hard. I want a smart inside linebacker who is tough. I want a fundamental guy who is vocal and leaves nothing to question.
Josey Jewell is the next JL. Hes a clone of him actually except he uses his hands to shed blocks better. His smarts, hands and toughness will allow him to path just as quick as AO. While he is not an "athletic" LB he is a football guy that plays very quick and with purpose due to the aforementioned strengths.
This team needs a guy that can diagnose. A guy that can't be set up and tricked so easily. This allows AO to play more natural. Rev AO up and send him flying.
Ideally I'd love to get Josh Jackson in the first round and them pair him with his teammate Josey Jewell in the third. Two "football players" that make their mates better because you can trust them to play hard, smart and productive.
