What happened to home field advantage?

December 18, 2017 02:28PM
I just checked the standings and there's only one team that is undefeated at home: Philadelphia.

New England has a better record on the road than at home (7-1 vs 4-2).

So does Pittsburgh (6-1 vs 5-2).

Baltimore has 4 road wins and 4 home wins (although they still have 2 home games to play).

Cleveland is 0-8 at home (and 0-6 on the road ... with games at Chicago and Pittsburgh to play. ugghhh)

Dallas is 5-2 on the road, 3-4 at home. So is Detroit.

The Giants are 1-6 either way. Chicago and San Francisco are both 2-5 either way. Seattle is 4-3 either way. Carolina is 5-2 either way.

Atlanta is 4-2 away, 4-3 at home.

And as we all know the Mighty Los Angeles Rams are 6-1 on the road and 4-3 at home.

Only 18 teams have more home wins that road wins. That's 2 teams more than half: shouldn't home field advantage be a bigger factor than that?
