I would have included the Texans in that list if they hadn't lost Watson for the season... that game now looks like yet another 35+ burger at least next week
However - We can now start talking playoffs and seeding. The Rams control everything
They play each of the division winners in the NFC and Seattle. With already having a loss to Seattle but a half game up virtue of a better record.
Can the Rams win all of those games? <shrug> IDK... I doubt it... but if they did they would have earned the number one seed. Period. No doubts, no questions, no ifs ands or buts
After next week this team will be 7-2 and then everything steps up a level and its sustained
@Vikings
Saints
Eagles
@Titans
@Seahawks
I have already moved on from yesterday.
The Rams are the kind of team that if you are bad or banged up they will DESTROY you. If you are a good team and you aren't on your game they will beat you in your own stadium. They are a team that appears to be growing in all phases gaining confidence week by week. Pharaoh Cooper is about to blowup!!!!
These tune up games Arizona, NY, and yes now the Texans are exactly what is needed as they prepare to face these tougher teams IMO.
Finally we have something to talk about. Not guess about. Not make blind predictions based on homerism or a pollyannish view of all things Rams
Nope we have a team that through 8 games is clearly one of the top 3 or 4 in the NFC. Eight more games to go and schedule that is a lot more challenging in the second half will tell us everything we need to know about these Rams.
They are about to be tested and we will see if this is going to a special season
