You know, the NFL season only offers 16 games. We are now 3-1. That means we can go 7 & 5 and get to 10 & 6.
Should we EXPECT the team to win 7 more games? Based on what we've seen this year ... yes! There is no reason why we can't go, say, 3 & 2 in the division the rest of the way and win 4 more games. We have shown that level of capability.
Will we do this? I dunno. Maybe we will turn out to be green in some key ways and break down. We might have a "successful" year by going, say, 6 & 6 and missing the playoffs. That could well show significant growth.
However, from where we stand right now, I submit that winning fewer than 10 games will be disappointing.
From where we stand right now. I think we will let ourselves down if we don't finish strong, over .500 the rest of the way.
Don't personally see any reason not to hold the team to this expectation.
