In order of priority the Rams need to address:
1) Watkins
2) TruJ
3) Joyner
4) Ogletree
5)/Donald
The logic is simple: FIRST address who you will lose after this season if you don't resign them.
This is why Donald comes out 5th. He is under contract this year and next.. If he wants to play his silly games and skip OTAs and Camp, so be it. He belongs to the Rams through 2018. Period. Hit the hold button on him.
The Rams have their WR, the 24 year old Watkins, and he's exactly what the Rams need since Goff loves to throw intermediate and deep. They have other complentary WRs. This league is about scoring points; not only from a fan interest standpoint but also in getting into the playoffs
TruJ is a superior corner and they cost a lot. His attitude has been great. He plays hard. He's long, physical and can cover. Give him his deal.
Joyner should not cost that much. But he is so valuable in that he can play pretty much anywhere in the secondary and he is showing that he is a worthy FS starter.
Ogletree. I struggle with. his worth to the team. I think he is less suited to Wade's 3-4 than to GWs 4-3. He is just not physical enough for an ILB in my bood. Enough said.
