He's was at OTAs yesterday and said a few things on ESPNLA this morning:
1. Goff looks bigger and is spinning the ball well, showing strong arm, compared to Mannion. They need Goff to be the guy otherwise they are screwed.
2. Gurley looks faster and trimmer. Expect the Rams to shoot for 1300+ yds from him this year using him similar to the Wash system. Gurley is the bell cow, clearly the best RB on the field.
3. If they pay Donald now that will cost them a couple of players that they can't afford. Donald got his hand on the QB more than any player in the NFL last year counting pressures and hits. Miami would swap Suh for Donald and how much is Suh making? And the longer the Rams wait, the more Donald is gonna cost.
4. Practice looks much sharper than last year. He said he hates to say that cause he liked the guy from last year.
5. There is a purpose to everything they are doing now. You can see that they have a scheme and they will be making half time adjustments. Last year it was do the same thing in the 2nd half only try harder.
6. He couched all this with the statement, remember its the first day and they are in pajamas.
