Some had pointed out that it was important to fire Fisher before the end of the season in order to avoid losing the LA fans. I believe it was a brilliant move to do it before the Thursday night game, which will be nationally televised and receive a lot more media attention than Sunday games. Now the media can focus on the prospects for the future rather than all the ugliness.
