The Rams had their last practice of the bye week today and while Jared Goff got first-team snaps with the offense the big news has to be the rookie WR Nelson Spruce (who was looking to get back on the field for the first time since week one of the preseason) seen leaving practice in a walking boot. Vincent Bonsignore of the L.A. Daily News tweeted it.
Definitely, not something Rams fans wanted to hear. However, Spruce does have two weeks to get ready for the Rams game versus the Carolina Panthers and it's important to keep in mind a walking boot can be used as a precaution when shutting down a player early in practice. Obviously we wish Spruce the best and will have updates when we acquire them. As for right now there has been no mention of the injury from any of the coaches.
