I read this morning that big Jim is making $9M per year and is the highest paid coach in FBS (Saban $6.9M).
It would appear that it will be extremely difficult to pry him away. The only mitigating factors are:
1) Michigan wins the NAT Champ this year
2) Jim really wants to get back to the NFL and get a ring
3) Jim has an intense hatred for the Niners and craves to play them 2x/year
4) Can Stan offer enough $ to entice Jim
The only way Jim becomes our next coach, IMO, is if all four of the above conditions are met.
