It feels as though half of posters agree with my CK assessment and half do not. Fisher does not agree with me and that's all that really matters.
I'm going to the game in Santa Clara. My son, after working for the Rams in '14, the Lions in '15, now has permanent work for the Niners. We were laughing when this all came down because as a life-long Ram fan too he's now working for the enemy. All's good. Very very proud of what he's accomplished. He does look funny in those colors though.
I was so excited to go see him and the Rams game. Now, I'm mostly only excited just to see my son. Fisher has a funny way to always deflate my enthusiasm for the team. Goff/Gurley is what I wanted to see. Goff going back home, putting on a show, and winning in front of that crowd. The only way that's possible at this point is if Case gets injured or Kroenke steps in and demands to play his new franchise QB that has been played up by everyone in the media and his own marketing machine. Goff has been the poster boy and face of the franchise as it moved to LA and now he's relegated to being a bench model. The PR marketing machine can't be happy with how this turned out. Probably as happy as I am.
In any event, on to game #1 and another typical Fisher season.
