Seasons are lost when your team is looking at a top draft choice...

seasons are lost when game 3 puts into very possible 1st pick status, seasons are lost when you have games during a season that are 30-0 or worse at half time. Seasons are lost when your top RB has 300 yards 3/4 through the season...when you are talking big about a WR because he caught a TD pass this week....Seasons are lost when you are on your 3rd coach in 5 years and your 3rd coach is being replaced half way through the season.

Being viable for a division title, no matter how bad that division may be is still a spot in the playoff rounds. Having a chance to continue having winning seasons is a goal, it may not be the best of goals, and in some cases may even be lowering the bar....but winning seasons are VERY important to a team that is young and learning...winning is the hardest thing to do in the NFL, and if you win more than you lose that builds a theme, it builds character, it brings confidence that can grow.

Last year was a surprise for many in a playoff appearance....it leads to higher expectations....within expectations you never have ideas of injuries piling up, or surprise trades before game 1...IF this team can somehow attain not only another playoff spot, but do it with a home game involved that to me is fantastic....does it demean the young players if the team does that with a 10 win season or a 9 game season?...Last year a team won a division with barely a winning record....but those fans were entertained with a home game playoff game....that is everybody's want...ISN'T IT?

Fans are a funny thing they quickly jump at anything from a big loss, or a 4 game win streak.....everything hinges on a single thing at times..the past is quickly swept away with some winning seasons....and the winning seasons are something that is actually demeaned unless the team is in the championship game...

I am not saying that I don't demand the best of the RAMS every year, I question play calling and player choices as well....but I also look at things in a whole being as well...well if I can't have this I'll be glad to have this if that's how it comes down. Does being relevant in Dec. matter only if you are in the top 5 or 6 teams? The RAMS no matter their record is relevant, they have a big say in who wins their division, and it's not in a way of being a spoiler, which for some years that's all we had desires on...or do you forget those days?...LOL.....SMFH......

Sometimes things aren't the best of the best, many times they aren't that way at all... in the end you rarely get what you expected, unless you are in an elite spot in life, and then the things you do expect don't really bring much joy do they? I like winning titles, I like winning records...I enjoy them, but always want more but the 1st thing to do is enjoy what you do get.....many don't even sniff that.
