Unless you got real stalwarts at spots a team would be foolish not to bring in competition. But at the same time a player I'd want on my team would be one who relishes competition. I am not concerned so much about Josh.....the team as a whole seems to let down just at times they can just as easily take it over......They'll score a TD and let a team have a good return, or the D will seem to disappear, or the D will make a huge play and the O will fall totally flat.
The kicker missed a gimme yesterday, but in the overall season to date he has not been the cause of a loss. Not saying I'm waiting for that day to come and THEN want him gone. I think he is a very capable kicker who is still getting his feet wet in a game that is not only just fun with buddies, but his livelihood. He seems to me to be well grounded, he obviously hates these misses, but he has talked about his procedure(s) he goes through and he tries to make sure he stays fluent in his process, he's not looking to change things up, but stay steady in what and how he has played the spot. To me that is much better than somebody, or him deciding to make changes in his delivery, which would IMO really screw with him.
He'll be a good kicker, if not an above average one in due time....keep him and get off that kicking carousel eternally trying to find Mr. Right. IMO he is a good kicker that will just improve as he ages.
