Oh sure, you can get motion from the X - here is Shanny examples

So you just reverse positions, say here, Torry is the X and Bruce the Z --- essentially they reserve roles on the 2 receiver side
the Z cannot move and the X and motion if he wants or just run a route,

Formation wise the X is the flanker and the Z is the an "End" not a split end but they don't change verbiage ...

Rams run this a lot, especially back in 2016-18-19 and even now.and the X and be the point, or one of the off ball guys ... and Rams mix it up
