Great question! How will we be different....
1. Our defensive backfield may (hopefully!) go from worst (horrible) to average (middle of the NFL pack) and that's a big jump and great news!
2. We'll generate more pressure from the front four, and get more total sacks. In part because of the influx of new talent, current players ascending further, and a new defensive coach. (all despite losing AD).
3. Hoecht won't play pass coverage as much. Great news! (relatively small point, but will reduce the frustration level watching the games!)
4. IF Kupp regains and retains his health (please!), our offense will be better. A top flight new guard is starting. The center position may be better with Avila. A new backup RB in Corum is on the team, who may be better than Williams (who is very good). And, Corum provides excellent depth when Williams misses a couple games or fumbles it too often.
5. Stafford will have another good year -- OL improved a bit (especially up the middle), strong running game, WR solid (IF Kupp is healthy!).
6. We may have a kicker who is "good" (even if not great), which is a huge step up from horrendous (kicking last year).
