49ers:
I thought they reached on Pearsall (whom I loved) and considering they are in a win now window, how does he help? They have Deebo, Aiyuk and Jennings. They needed OL and DB help. Green - CB - FSU was another reach IMO. Puni was a very good get in round 3 for their IOL. Mustafa was an OK choice at SAF, but why add another RB and then to add a 2nd WR is a real head scratcher.
I know they are a SB team, but they came away with zero starters. Maybe Puni can push for an interior spot.
Cardinals:
MHJ and Darius Robinson were HR picks and should be starters. Melton was a favorite CB of mine and Benson was a consensus top 3 RB, and an ever down back at that. Reiman was a climber TE I really liked, Jones is an underrated OT, Dadrion Taylor-Demerson was a top SAF in the draft, E. Jones adds more help to that secondary and X. Thomas is a good day 3 edge rusher. I thought they had a tremendous draft. If anything, I think they needed to do more to help that OL, but its hard to complain about the prospects they took.
Seattle:
According to NFL.com, they needed help on both lines, LB and TE. And thats exactly how they drafted with their first 4 picks. They got the consensus #1 DT (not my #1) in Murphy, then got a nasty demeanored OG in Haynes, Knight the LBer I thought was a huge reach, but thats just me. Then they took AJ Barner, TE from Mich., who I think has his best football in front of him. Solid choice in round 4. Afterthat, they took a couple of CBs from Auburn I did not like at all, and Im a AU fan. AN OT I had never heard of and a decent OG.
I thought they addressed needs well, but some of the picks were head scratchers. I htought it was an OK draft.
So a poor draft, and excellent draft and an OK draft.
