Not a big deal. Not going to rip a kid for being down, sounds to me he may have wanted, and had been talking to, the Rams. Had Verse
been gone, Rams probably would have taken him. And people would love him for wanting to be a Rams. We can be hard on people, can't we? And we do it when there really isn't a big deal. I think Rams got the more complete and better prospect. But I would have been fine with Chop ... and we cannot know for sure ... but that may have been their next guy.
