But if Fiske was the one they wanted and this works out, it basically comes down to a high third rather than a second next year, and in return we got a powerful strong defense line DESPITE Donald leaving.
Honestly if they think Fiske and Verse together with Turner, young and whomever can make up (Such as it is) for 99 and maybe even make stronger D than last year I would give a HIGH second for that, let alone what I hope and expect ours will be going to be.
If it works and if the offense remains functional we wont NEED the first next year either and we can trade down and get that second AND something else as well.
If Fiske DON'T work out we have bigger problems than a lost second in 2025 anyway, so overall I think in this case I chose to trust the staff that if they think it was worth that second... than I wont gainsay them until I've at least seen him on the field once or twice.
