Why would the start coaching a 4-3 now?
Rams use a DL a lot of the time in nickel, only used the 3-4 about 20-25% of the time if that
The base will be a 3-4 3 DL 4 LBer with 2 of the LBers rushers -- the OLBers ... could even be called a 5-2 --
they use a "Penny" a lot it's 3 LBer and 3 DL but 2 of LBers are OLBers ... so could be called a 5-1
And what they use maybe 30-40% of the time is a 4-2-5 and 2 of the "4" are OLBers
The issue with running a 4-3 is you have no 4-3 OLBer, at all.
If you put Young and Verse as DEs and Turner and Fiske as DTs, you have Jones as an MLBer, who plays OLBer?
I think scheme says pretty mich the same but like always there will be tweaks and difference but this will be a Fangio/Staley type scheme
If they eveh did go to a 4-3 they'd need a coach who's coached it and OLBers that could play it ...and have played it.
