Yes indeed it could be. However to me it seems more likely they were trying to move up to get Verse, B murphy, or Turner or with that commitment of draft capital, a QB. I dont know but personally do know they have been very quietly interested in JJ since late 2023 so that might have made sense. The draft turned out to obviously show where their commitment was directed and where it wasnt. So for me, trading up for a really special tight end did not make sense. We already have 4 and evidently they are happy with them. I would assume if they were not, they would have found numerous possible replacements in the draft.. not saying im right and I respect your opinion but I still call that move up a feeble bluff. Maybe it worked. We got a great player and IMO had the best draft in years!! Go Rams!!
