I am QUITE ready to see our D elevate across the board and not be just one guy (Who was held and double teamed). I want to see our D GET AFTER IT and ....GASP!!...make tackles and get turn overs. Imagine our O with a D that gets 2-4 extra possessions a game??
The Rams improve a LOT more with Verse than they would have with Bowers, IMO (Not a slam on Bowers AT ALL)
For the immediate future I agree 100%. Bowers might be a generational talent at TE but for our SB window with Stafford the next 2-3 years Verse IMHO will help more.
I am absolutely fine with Verse , would be even more happy if the Rams somehow get Newton to play DT for us.
