at this point in time I am not even remotely thinking he will come back, or for that matter hoping he will. There is so much electricity going on with the fresh talented FA's brought in, The bang start to the draft with a talented maybe top 10-15 guy falling in our spot, to the still additions in the draft and what's out there to pick. Then add in the refreshing new D-line coach in Giff and the waiting to see what's new and up Shulas' sleeve.
Now when the season hits and 99 isn't out there I'll be hit a bit and missing his play, but I am not going to hope,wonder if/when he's coming back. If he would that would be good, but I really think these other guys can prove a thing or 2 without him. I really think his individual numbers can be transferred to the likes of Young, Turner, Verse, Johnson, Jones, Kurl, Hoecht, Matheson, and who ever else we pick today and tomorrow. Sacks by committee, and it will be IMO maybe tougher on teams to instead of find #99 have to look for 3 or 4 guys at any given time instead.
AD was the master, the one and only......I kinda like having that memory and building new ones with the young guys. I'd like to see him for sure, but really it's not in my mind at all.
