Are you fully prepared to pay the cost of the tradeup? Losing 1 or 2 starters for next 4 years, at least?
I favor the analytics recommendation, which is to trade down and add premium picks in a loaded draft through the 3rd round.
Draft value chart indicates that with a 2025 Nr. 1 pick you can jump from 19 to about 8-10 this year. So that would cost us only one player.
I think that is worth the cost to get a true blue chip prospect NOW to help us for a SB drive in 2024.
Getting a guy like Alt or Odunze now could be huge. We then still have our second rounder and 2 third rounders to adress the D.
