Yeah, he's not ideal as an Edge, but I think he can play 3 or 5T DL. He's strong against the run too. Ideally, he can add a little more weight. I just think he's a good football player. Now, that doesn't solve the need for a quality Edge, but maybe Chop will be there at the top of the 2nd under the OP's draft scenario. I think Penix will go in the 1st round anyway.
