Penix is a modern day Kenny Stabler

Which is to say he will be a great QB who is a lefty.

Stabler as everyone knows was a lefty. He was a partying, crazy SOB who was fearless in the pocket. He was a QB who had magic to him too, the way he could find guys in big moments, and good things happen on the field in his favor. I think Penix has a lot of similarities to him.

Now where they are different is raw arm strength. Penix can spin it better than Kenny did. He's not the party animal Kenny was. But whichever team takes this kid is going to get a good one. IMO.
