He's a project for sure

I have Milton III at 138 on my final big board. So end of the 4th early 5th round option IMO. Def not day 2. He has too much work to do to be in the top 3 rounds.

Positives:
Arm Strength - Will walk on to an field at the next level with top 3 arm strength.
Mobility - combined with his size, he was Josh Allen vibes. In fact lets check out Allen vs Milton from an athletic view:

Milton is 1/4" taller and 2 lbs. lighter, Milton ran a 4.56 compared to Allen's 4.75, Milton was 0.05 faster in his 20 yard split, and 0.02 secs slower in his 10 yard split. Milton jumped 1.5 higher in the vert and 1 inch longer in the broad.

They are virtually identical.

Negatives:
Has never had to read a defense
Accuracy is lacking esp. beyond 10 yards (38.4% comp rate)
Mechanics need cleaning up
He also has 1 speed on his ball, all fastballs, he lacks touch

So yeah, the physical tools are there at an elite level. But he hasn't paired that with the nuances of the game. Timing, touch, putting air under the ball, squaring his body to his target...

I like him, and would be the day 3 QB I would target, but not until round 5.

Re: OK brother, then he's the guy I would want the Rams to target. Why?
