You look for a flag. It's almost a shock when one is NOT thrown. The NFL has "tweaked" the rules so damned much, they really are making the game a drag. There's hardly a incomplete pass play where WRs are NOT giving "Throw the flag" gesture. You can't hit too high....You can't hit too low....What a catch is now has 137 interpretations and every Ref has their own of each of those. They keep adding rules every year but guess what?? Players are STILL getting hurt! The NFL says they are concerned about safety but want to add games and have games played almost every day of the week now.
I REALLY wish the NFL would just toss the "modern" rule book and just go back to 1989. That goes for jerseys too (I want horns on the sleeves!!!! LOL) But seriously, the games were sooooooooo much more fluid and injuries were no worse than they are now.
