It is unimaginable to me that Wentz wanted a better contract than JG got. While I have no proof of it, were it to be so it would only reinforce the notion that Wentz is some kind of a head case.
So, while I doubt he wanted more, and the Rams likely could have kept Wentz for the same or less, they deliberately chose to go another direction. Not to mention, we've not heard one syllable of interest around the league in Wentz. That's a pretty major indictment... earned or not.... when you consider his original draft position and his past accomplishments.
Something has gone terribly wrong. And while we, the fans, may not be privy to it, certainly all 32 NFL teams seem to be in one accord about it.
