AD is a very prideful player.....He takes his job seriously and he loves the work it takes to put into the game of football and the preparation for each and every season.
IMHO, he made his mind up years ago, when he can't give the game he loves 100% of him, then it will be time to move on.....That's what he's doing.
I also think he's counting himself as a lucky player to walk off the field healthy and on his own terms, not get injured and carted off, he does not want it to end that way.
Bottom line, thank you #99.....THE BEST Ram football player I have ever seen.....No doubt.....Aaron Donald will always be the standard of excellence when it comes to playing defense in the NFL.
