I was at that game. I believe the 42-7 blowout in Seattle.

He was being swung around by I believe Donald and tried to throw the ball away. As he was twisted around, it went backwards.

I wouldn't classify that as the turning point.

Even Everett's phantom sack wasn't the turning point. He went to the pro bowl the following year, with the Rams.

That said, it is an easy WTF moment that can define a career no doubt.
