For the benefit of the less outdoorsy types who might be reading, fly tying is defined as the art of making imitation insects used for fishing lures by using fine thread to attach various exotic feathers, animal hair, wisps of silk, wool, and synthetic fibers to a tiny fish hook - a skill easily mastered by anyone who can peel a grape using tweezers and a butter knife while wearing oven mitts.
