I think Puka has exceeded even the Rams' expectations.
Puka and Brock Purdy tend to verify my thesis: The draft is basically a crapshoot. (Well, maybe not quite, but you get the idea...) The Rams tip the odds in their favor by considering character, love for the game and strong desire to make it as factors when they pick players. The guys with those characteristics (rather than the flashy natural athlete who is marginal mentally or has an entitled attitude) will tend to stick and progress.
