I wholeheartedly agree re: leaving Avila at LG. The synergy he has with AJ will only continue to grow. Moving him to center involves changing
two positions on the OL. I don't want to do that.
And (drumroll...................) what about Mike Macallister? Where will he be with an unseen year of development and an upcoming camp? If he's ready to be a solid backup, I'd look at trading or (worst case) cutting Allen and putting his money in the free agent fund.
If Macallister doesn't progress sufficiently, then make a move. Not until.
