Luxury magazines and highly specialty magazines are all that's doing well

Next time you go to the grocery store look at the rack of magazines. Not the crap at the counter in the line but the 15 or so feet of in aisle space devoted to pulications.

All of them are very specialized like things from raising horses, breeding dogs, cooking, luxury goods and so on.

General info and opinion stuff is outdated.

This is the evolution of media. Just like so many other things that change landscapes from cars to air travel to computers even before the internet.

The Two Rules of Change

1. Change is inevitable.

2. Nobody likes change but a wet baby.
