So the gist of it is that McVay saw the coverage the Lions were a fit for the play call and he liked that. Versus checking down and getting half the yards then going for it on 4th down. Also says in hindsight he would have gone for it on 4th and 14.

But the insightful part - to me, at least - was where he talked about "the flow of the game" versus the "analytics" and making sure his decisions take the former into account. Cool stuff.
