I have always liked kicking off to start. There is nothing better than....

Getting a stop and then scoring, all the while knowing you get the second half kickoff. But in recent times, it has been TROUBLE! Just how many 12-14 play / 75 yard drives did our D give up to start a game this year?? And when you have the lead and get the second half kickoff, I'm ALL for running the first two downs. That just about wipes close to a minute and a half, regardless of yards. Get a first down?? And you are in great shape.

But you can't guarantee you'll have it last in the first half

Yep. It's why the house wins. No emotion to it. Nm.
