Glad to hear former players making that comment—Collinsworth (former player, obviously) made it too—instead of just hearing on our beloved Ramily message board. That way, if the word travels up to the Rams’ front office, it has gravitas. That should be an easy fix.
I’ve been a big fan of using Hoecht at the DE spot—300 pounder who runs a 4.6. But as much as I was rooting for him, I really didn’t see a payoff for his size and speed. Unless he can figure out some pass rush moves in the offseason, might be time to end the expirement.
Hopefully the DE issue is address emphatically this offseason.
Very proud of this time. I still can’t believe we were in the playoffs.
