I don't know if refs are intentionally calling it (Stafford hit) on some but not other qbs. Not saying that was your point. Your right when it comes to risk of permanent injury. That's why its hard to believe refs would not call it. Maybe its as simple as not paying the right amount of attention to the play, or distraction, or a million othert things.
