So I opted for the $5.99/mo option, displayed on a ticket-like link with monthly on one side, year at $29.99 on the other. The arrow stayed as an arrow when hovered over the $5.99 part of the ticket, and only turned to white-glove fist, ready to click and raid my card account, when hovered over the annual price.
I'm calling bull&^%$#.
And I'll hate to miss the game.
But I'm not going to shell out $30 to watch a slipshod job of streaming that brings a substandard product into my home where I used to watch better for free.
For me it's a matter of resources and principle.
