Rams Kicking game is ???

the lack of kicking game going into the playoffs is a huge issue for this team, but it may not be as bad as some may think.

Hear me out, The Rams now know they can't count on the kicking game to add points, so this will make either more 4th down attempts or punts. However, this may also play a part in how the plays are called, with the thought of needing 4 downs and needing to score TDs this may truly make McVay go deeper into his playbooks to create better opportunities.

We all know he can go conservative at times and just decide the FG is ok, but now, he has to think TD or bust when we get into the red zone. this will also cause the defenses to stress a little bit more knowing he may be going for it more often than not once down there.

in any event, the Rams caused this issue themselves, they have now gone through 2 kickers in preseason, Maher now 2 times and Havrisik.

there is no sense in trying to find a new Kicker because it may just be for one game. best they can hope for is that Maher gets back to his form from last season with the cowboys pre failure OR they decide to go for 2 and go for broke. going for broke may just launch the team further into the playoffs than anyone can imagine.

When McVay is aggressive this team flourishes. when he's conservative they stumble.
