I was looking at the NFL website of their evaluation of the Rams draft, and individual assessment of each player, and it was pretty funny.
Avila wasn't very nasty and would perhaps need to lose weight so he could play Center.
Turner couldn't hold the point and would be easily defeated and moved back by double teams....too small, of course. Only a rotational player.
Young was so undeveloped, and too old at 25, that despite his athletic size and traits it was risky to take him and then have the time to develop him.
Nacua was too upright in his routes, couldn't separate, at best would be a possession receiver due to lack of play speed.
So much for NFL experts.
If the draft was reheld today, probably 2, maybe even 3, of those guys would have been 1sr rounders, and Young probably an early 2nd (maybe Avila still a 2nd rounder).
The draft IS a crap shoot.
I think three would be first rounders with a potential fourth in the first round in a couple years.
