His first pro game. And it showed. Took way too long to make decisions, was inaccurate and kept getting sacked. Was in way over his head and it was obvious from the first series. I'm sure O'Connell regretted the decision immediately, but couldn't just yank him after two series, and so you knew he would replace him at the half, and he did. But by then, it was too late -- the damage was done.
The Vikes defense was atrocious -- receivers wide open all over the field. But I wonder if they might've been deflated knowing that they had no chance with Hall at QB.
