Look. The Rams are waaaaaay better than I ever thought they'd be.
But, the holes and deficiencies especially on Defense are blatant and hardly suitable for going much past a Wild Card game.
These expectations for a team that is ONE GAME over .500 are too high, I think.
That means that when the greater probability occurs (the Rams exit the playoffs pretty quickly), we'll have loads of media and fans piling on. Not because the expectations were reasonable, but because the Rams didn't fulfill their dreams and narrative.
I do, of course, hope that the Rams do what all the odds say they can't. But, I'll take whatever happens with a smile because they have been so fun this year in a remodeling year.
And BTW, I believe they do NOT have a playoff appearance wrapped up yet.
