Carr immediately looks to his left, where the deep safety is moving away from to cover the middle of the field. This is the correct read. With the high safety moving away from the wr, Carr now has a one on one deep. He takes a shot.
Durant, the cb, is in a great position but the WR makes a good play on the ball or interference, whatever. I don't think there is much to learn from this play--it was defended well, but the Saints get to play the game too. Morale of the story if you want to give the cbs help deep don't play single high.
